What is Colo-Check?

A non-invasive early diagnosis solution targeting epigenetic traces

Colo-Check is a molecular-based and patient-friendly early diagnosis approach that offers patients a more comfortable sampling process in colorectal cancer screening.

Modern laboratory environment
Dual-matrix molecular analysis

The aim is to increase diagnostic accuracy by evaluating data obtained from stool and serum samples together.

Scientific basis

DNA methylation and its role in cancer development

DNA methylation is one of the fundamental epigenetic mechanisms that regulates when genes are active. In cancer development, this regulation may be disrupted, and uncontrolled cell proliferation may begin with the silencing of tumor suppressor genes.

Molecular biology study

What does Colo-Check detect?

Colo-Check targets cancer-related epigenetic changes, especially DNA methylation patterns. These changes may appear at the molecular level before the disease shows clinical symptoms.

01

Non-invasive approach

It offers a sampling process that aims to increase patient compliance without the invasive burden of colonoscopy.

02

Epigenetic targeting

It aims to track not only signs of bleeding, but also cancer-specific molecular traces.

03

Dual matrix support

It provides a more comprehensive analysis approach by evaluating stool and serum samples together.

How does it work?

Molecular analysis process

The Colo-Check process consists of collecting samples, preserving genetic material, laboratory analysis, and evaluating the results.

Sample collection

Stool and/or serum samples are collected from the patient. For the highest accuracy, the dual matrix approach is recommended.

DNA-based analysis

Epigenetic changes are analyzed in the laboratory environment through targeted gene panels.

Result evaluation

Patients with positive results are referred for colonoscopy for clinical confirmation.

Important note Colo-Check is not a definitive diagnostic method that replaces colonoscopy. Positive test results must be confirmed through clinical evaluation and colonoscopy.

Why is it important?

Early diagnosis in colorectal cancer directly affects treatment success and survival rates. Colo-Check offers a patient-friendly screening approach focused on detecting molecular traces at an early stage.

Patient compliance

A more comfortable screening experience

The preparation process, sedation, and invasive procedure requirements in traditional methods may reduce patient compliance. Colo-Check supports screening participation by aiming for a more comfortable process.
